The catalogue states an import and at ten months a most recent and promising one. A very typy boy with great potential if everything comes together as indicated. Particularly eye catching was the overall balance with good front and rear angulation, a one to one legginess ratio, a nice practical body weight in fitting with strong boned limbs. Head shape and size was in harmony with the body and he possessed an excellent coat both in colour and texture. Movement a little erratic but strong and positive which bodes well when he settles down.

Brown roan, with excellent coat and skin, square outline, head a little plain but good eye colour and shape. Movement ok.

1st Junior Dog & RCC Bournemouth Championship Show
A very typical young dog with correct conformation. His head was true Spinone with correct planes, good depth of muzzle, lovely eye which gave him the lovely expression I was looking for. Strong neck into good shoulders, pronounced sternum and correct depth of chest for his age. Coat colour and texture good. I loved the overall picture and when he moved out well with drive it clinched his 1st place and later the RCC

15 month old B/R Nice head, strong neck, good shoulders and topline. Not quite the depth of brisket as 1, ample width of thigh with well let down hocks. Correct coat and skin, moved ok.

1st Graduate Dog Mid Herts Gundog
B/r, lovley head & expression, strong neck into well laid shoulders, good topline & length and depth to ribs, well turned stifle & tailset, moved with drive.

Beautiful quality brown, took my eye going round the ring & I was pleased on going over him, not fully mature in body yet, but his shape, balance & movement are so full of Spinone type I loved him, made the last 4 in the challenge.

O f masculine appearance and of true breed type, flat skull with divergent head planes and correct balance of back skull to muzzle, prominent spongy nostrils, full eye with soft expression, short muscular neck, correct flow of top line with sloping croup, well sprung rib, good depth of brisket, just a little loose in elbow.

Larger type than winner but still a likeable chap. Well balanced, good conformation, attractive masculine head, straight front, decent lay of shoulder, moved well. In good harsh coat.

2nd Post Graduate Dog Bournemouth Championship Show
The coat on this b/r was perfect, good colour, texture and lenth. Very well made front and strong rear used to good effect. Kind expressive eye, good skull shape and powerful neck. I would prefer less tuck up.

This lad is starting to mature nicely and is very promising, presents a good typical outline. Liked his head eye and expression, strong muscular neck, well angulated fore and aft, good width length and depth to ribs and loin giving pleasing body shape, adequate bone, stands four square in natural stance, moved well. will soon trouble the best, serious consideration for RCC

Well constructed dog with a super head and expression. In lovely condition with plenty of depth and bone. Not quite the maturity of 1 but I am sure that will come. Moved well.

Lovely well grown dog with a balanced head but I would prefer more overall length and narrower in skull, super dark eyes giving a lovely expression, strong neck into lovely shoulders, strong bone, good feet, well sprung deep ribs, very good angulation behind with good width of second thigh, lovely coat and condition, moved well.

A brown roan of excellent breed type, full of quality with an excellent outline both standing and moving. He has the loveliest head eye and expression, excellent balanced angulation, good depth to body, strong and short coupled in loin.He uses his strong hinquarters so well on the move.

Winner of an excellent class. This dog for me, has everything right. Super head, dark expressive eye, lovely head planes, good front assembly, hind angulation just right, moved soundly. My CC winner must have a big future.

What a balanced sound free moving dog this is. Super head shape and kind eye. True fronted with the width of chest. Shoulders correctly placed, plenty of heart room. Let down in brisket with the depth and strength in body. Strong well developed back end. Covers the ground with ease. Well deserved the CC.

B/R of good type. Square in outline with good angulation both front and rear. Lean, balanced head with pronounced occiput and short strong neck into well laid back shoulders. Would like a darker eye. Deep brisket with good length and spring of ribs and short strong loin. His coat is coarse and is the correct shade of brown. A really well balanced dog he moved with good reach and drive. I feel this boy still has some maturing to do.

What a heart melting expression this boy has, lovely lean head of balanced proportions. Equally balanced in body he fits the square and his construction shows in his superb movement, he made the most of a big ring. Ideal harsh coat with correct shade of brown. Thoroughly deserved his BD & CC. I was delighted to hear on the journey home that it was his third.

Again two nice subjects but 1 has the edge on type. Her conformation is impressive and she appeared to be balanced whenever I glanced at her. She has a lovely head, eye and expression with correct profile planes. Very good coat and skin. Can't fault her for size at this stage but hope she stops growing and retains her 'girly charms' for the future. BPB.

Attractive young lady who is maturing nicely feminine but with strength and style. Balanced head with correct muzzle to skull ratio with low set ears. Correctly angulated fore and aft, well ribbed and bodied with ample bone. Harsh coat which was in good condition. Moved well.

Close up and a very similar type to 1. Good head and lovely expression, Squarely built and well balanced, Good straight front, and good depth. Moved OK.

Excellent in type with a beautiful head of good proportions and eyes of lovely expression. Very good divergence in her head with correct proportions in length and breadth. Required definition in the skull with the rooflike structure and good occiput. Correctly set ear of good length. Short, strong neck with nice crest. Well angulated forequarters. Exhibited real strength through the body and powerful loin. Good width in thigh and well constructed hindquarters. Well coated of good texture. Moved with ease.

CC, looked superb on the move, keeping her outline, toplien & tail carriage in harmony, excellent breed type head/planes, good textured coat, colour, skin, in hard muscle condition, which explains the effortless gait movement.

Sound, robust and rustic with ample breed characteristics. At the transition stage, neither a juvenile nor adult and still needs to drop a little into his body. A lovely well defined masculine head with good expanse of muzzle allowing generous width to nostril and dark eyes giving that sorrowful groucho expression. Soundly built with strong neck, firm topline, ribs well back, broad rump and near level underline all underpinned by stout columns of support. Balanced angulation helped his free and easy movement and when circumstances presented him with an opportunity his consistency won him the day. R.D.C.C.
