Off we set round the M25, why oh why do we have to use that road???
A good run though and no hold ups at the Dartford crossing for a change. We arrived in plenty of time so off I went to get my catalogue when there was an announcement to say judging was delayed for half hour due to an accident. Fair enough but it meant waiting in the car (the warmest place!) for about an hour!! Our rings were outside which I don’t mind at all, gives us a bigger space for them to move. Freezing cold though!
A couple of breeds in before us but it didn’t take long. In I went with Maya and I was surprised she won as her competition was really nice. She did me proud. Then Ava went in on her lonesome, a few absentees unfortunately. There were daredevil pigeons who would not bugger off out of the ring and Ava was on point! She wanted them out of there! The judge had to step in and scare them away before we could move!
Having both girls in the line up I had to get Mum to handle which she absolutely refuses to do normally. We had no choice this time so in she went with Ava as she’s the easier of the two to show. I was 100% expecting Ava to take BOB as she’s more “together” at this stage but to my amazement Maya took it and Ava RBOB. Maya played up on the final run round too so pretty shocked (but pleased!)
Had to hang around for the group now. Unfortunately nothing in the group but never mind.
