Got a bit bored with the purple theme so have gone with a bit of teal for the new colour, hope you like it!

Have kept the purple so you may see if being changed back and forth at some point, haven’t decided yet!!

New exercise machine – 25th Feb 2010

Well, today we got a new machine which Mummy says wil be good for us. I’m not so sure……

It looked a bit scary to start with but Mummy showed me what to do and it was so much fun! I didn’t want to get off.

Everytime I get on it Mummy gives me something yummy to eat, I think I am going to enjoy this.

East Kent – 7th Feb 2010

Posted by mavaya on March 1, 2010 at 12:58 am in Show Days

Off we set round the M25, why oh why do we have to use that road???

A good run though and no hold ups at the Dartford crossing for a change. We arrived in plenty of time so off I went to get my catalogue when there was an announcement to say judging was delayed for half hour due to an accident. Fair enough but it meant waiting in the car (the warmest place!) for about an hour!! Our rings were outside which I don’t mind at all, gives us a bigger space for them to move. Freezing cold though!

A couple of breeds in before us but it didn’t take long. In I went with Maya and I was surprised she won as her competition was really nice. She did me proud. Then Ava went in on her lonesome, a few absentees unfortunately. There were daredevil pigeons who would not bugger off out of the ring and Ava was on point! She wanted them out of there! The judge had to step in and scare them away before we could move!

Having both girls in the line up I had to get Mum to handle which she absolutely refuses to do normally. We had no choice this time so in she went with Ava as she’s the easier of the two to show. I was 100% expecting Ava to take BOB as she’s more “together” at this stage but to my amazement Maya took it and Ava RBOB. Maya played up on the final run round too so pretty shocked (but pleased!)

Had to hang around for the group now. Unfortunately nothing in the group but never mind.

Manchester Championship Show – 24th Jan 2010

Posted by mavaya on March 1, 2010 at 12:50 am in Show Days

A very, very early start to make the long journey all the way up to Stafford. The girls really don’t appreciate being woken up at such a stupid hour but needs must!!

Thankfully no traffic probs and a good run up. Chatting away to people I hadn’t seen in a while and then you turn around and it’s nearly time for your class!! Maya’s first show in Post Grad, scary! The competition was fantastic and her having just turned 18 months we weren’t expecting anything. Never mind!! Nothing for Ava either in her first Limit class but you never know if you don’t go!

Ava’s Mum got 2nd in Open though and her half sister took the RCC.

Went to see our friends at the Bracco ring but they hadn’t even been in yet so were all off doing their shopping. Luckily bumped into some of them so time for more chatting.

Went shopping but didn’t get anything. Decided to leave relatively early for the long drive home.

The lovely highway agency thought they’d kindly close the A14 so diverted us down the A1 instead. Great, another hour added on to our journey. One of those days you wish you’d never bothered!! ;)

Luton Premier Show – 29th Dec 2009

Another day, another show!!

Today just a short journey of 1hr 15 to Luton show. We weren’t in till 12pm so a nice lay in for a change!

A really good entry of Spinoni and again, some lovely exhibitors. Really does make a show so much better when only the nice ones are there!

Both the girls did middly in their classes but can’t complain!! They showed well and that’s all you can ask.

Really, really pleased my lovely friend Sharon took BOB & BP with Ava’s half brother, well deserved!

Chatted, chatted and chatted, again, a great day!

Wealdstone Show – 27th Dec 2009

Posted by mavaya on March 1, 2010 at 12:39 am in Show Days

Off we trekked down to Wealdstone today, it was freezing!!!!!!! But, wanted to support the judge so made the journey.

Had to hang around for quite a while but found one of our lovely friends to chat too. A lovely day, nice judge, nice bunch of exhibitors for a change!!! Ava did really well, coming second to the gorgeous BOB bitch so pleased with that.

Whilst waiting for the Stakes we saw a gorgeous little Griffon, what a character!!

Wanted to stay for the Stakes classes we were entered in but it was such a long wait that we decided to go home mid afternoon.

Good day but not one of my favourite venues.
